About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Control, monitoring and management of federal, state and municipal tax installment agreements;
- Monitoring of administrative and judicial tax proceedings, in coordination with the Legal department;
- Control of payments, enrollments, restructured installments and closures of tax installment agreements;
- Review, reconciliation and analysis of tax accounts related to taxes and installment agreements;
- Support during tax audits;
- Participation in tax compliance projects, review of procedures and implementation of improvements related to new tax rules;
- Preparation of management reports, KPIs and tax analyses to support decision-making;
- Ongoing interaction with the Accounting, Finance and Legal departments;
- Preparation, validation and submission of the ECD (Escrituração Contábil Digital / Digital Accounting Bookkeeping) and the ECF (Escrituração Contábil Fiscal / Tax Accounting Bookkeeping).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law or related fields;
- Previous experience in the tax area, with knowledge of tax installment agreements and tax litigation/proceedings;
- Experience with federal, state and municipal taxes;
- Knowledge of tax legislation and the impacts of the Tax Reform;
- Experience with ERP systems and tax software;
- Knowledge of Tax Legislation;
- Attention to detail;
- Analytical skills.
