About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites using themes, plugins, and advanced custom fields
  • Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect WordPress layouts
  • Build or extend custom plugins to support unique client features
  • Integrate third-party APIs and marketing tools such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, and automation services
  • Optimize sites for speed, security, SEO, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver polished and reliable websites
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical planning and best practices
  • Stay updated with WordPress updates, modern web standards, and emerging tools

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL
  • Experience with custom themes, custom plugins, and WordPress hooks and filters
  • Proficiency with modern page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or Beaver Builder
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Git workflows, and responsive development
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team and communicate effectively
