About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify and execute improvements in engineering processes, workflows, tools, and training.
Support development and implementation of metrics and KPIs across multiple engineering disciplines, establishing a foundational framework for collection and reporting.
Facilitate cross-discipline collaboration among engineering teams with a focus on compliance, process improvement, resource utilization, and competency development.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and engineering best practices across all levels of the organization.
Partner closely with training owners to inform design and execution of engineering learning & development initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
12+ years of engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on process improvement, operational excellence, or engineering excellence
Strong knowledge of systems engineering and systems thinking, system development lifecycles
Proven experience establishing metrics/KPI frameworks, gathering/collections processes, reporting frameworks, specific for engineering data
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
Familiarity with industry standard toolsets; Jira, Confluence, Requirements Management applications, SYSML/UML (Cameo/MagicDraw preferred), PowerBI, etc.
Desired: Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
Citizenship Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen.
