About the role
- Apply mechanical engineering principles for the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies
- Develop CAD 2D and 3D models of electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical components and assemblies
- Documentation of design solutions including reports, engineering drawings and Bill of Materials
- Provide effective communication across functional teams
- Work as key member of a cross-functional team to develop mechanical and electro-mechanical solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 0+ years’ experience in mechanical design.
- Understanding of mechanical design philosophy and design process flow.
- Ability to resolve issues during design, development and execution of mechanical engineering activities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office software applications.
- Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
