About the role
- Take overall responsibility for sustainability and environmental management within Saab Business Area Surveillance
- Lead the development and execution of sustainability and environmental initiatives
- Ensure sustainability considerations are fully integrated into business operations and decision-making processes
- Work closely with business operations, support functions, and Saab Group Sustainability and Environmental teams
- Drive transformation and establish effective structures and processes
- Deliver measurable impact across sustainability and environmental performance
- Lead, coach and develop a team of specialists
- Define targets, follow up on progress and reporting
- Create a clear roadmap to ensure continuous advancement towards sustainability and environmental ambitions
- Act as an ambassador and thought leader within BA Surveillance
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of sustainability and environmental management as strategic and hands on value creating business enablers
- Proven leadership experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously
- Track record of driving change and continuous improvement.
- Experience of target setting, KPI management and performance follow-up
- Experience of sustainability and environmental reporting
- Knowledge of applicable environmental and sustainability-related laws and regulations
- Knowledge of Saab’s sustainability strategy
- Line management experience
- Understanding of BA Surveillance’s product portfolio and business operations
