About the role

  • Lead the project management of national or international naval projects
  • Plan and control the entire project execution to ensure quality
  • Manage and coordinate shipyards, partners and subcontractors, as well as internal organizational units
  • Communicate with customers and coordinate communication among all project stakeholders and partners
  • Take responsibility for opportunity and risk management
  • Support cost estimation and cost calculation during the tendering process
  • Ensure cost, quality and schedule targets are met
  • Support procurement in the preparation, conduct and follow-up of negotiations

Requirements

  • Completed degree in business administration, engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in project management
  • Experience in the naval environment, ideally with naval projects at comparable companies
  • Solid business administration knowledge and at least 5 years of project management experience
  • Ideally certified in project management according to IPMA
  • Excellent German and English skills, spoken and written
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a confident manner when dealing with internal and external partners
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel nationally and internationally
