About the role

  • Design and architect the platform for Software Factory to support the development and operations of software solutions.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand their needs and provide technical guidance.
  • Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the platform architecture and infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in platform architecture and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Support the execution of projects by providing technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Platform Architect or in a similar role within a software development environment.
  • Strong knowledge of private and public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
