About the role
- Partner with hiring managers across departments to identify recruitment needs and strategize hiring
- Adhere to recruitment KPIs like time to hire and track source of hire and time to fill
- Create and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Identify appropriate sourcing channels, post jobs, and track candidate information in a recruitment database
- Screen candidate profiles based on job relevance
- Interview candidates at various stages (phone screening, video interviews, in-person meetings)
- Organize hiring events, participate in job fairs, and network with potential candidates
- Manage all communication with candidates from application through onboarding
- Understand candidate motivations and evaluate candidate-organization alignment
- Set up discussions/interviews with panels and facilitate the recruitment process
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and follow up on interview status
- Act as point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during selection
- Ensure recruitment SLAs are met as agreed with supervisor/manager and stakeholders
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Human Resources (or related field)
- 7-8 years of experience as a recruiter, preferably from an IT background
- Strong sourcing skills – Boolean search, X-Ray search
- Listening skills to understand candidate intent and reasoning
- Familiarity with sourcing tools – Naukri, Monster, LinkedIn, Social media platforms
- Proven track record of hiring across multiple geographies (US, UK, Europe, Middle East, APAC, India)
- Strong knowledge of global recruitment practices, visa processes, and compliance requirements
- Ability to handle time zone differences and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and experience using an Applicant Tracking System
- Excellent business communication, presentation, and demonstration skills
- Strong decision-making, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
