About the role
- Assumes a leadership role in developing new business
- Provides guidance and training to less experienced officers and assistants
- Initiates contacts for developing brokerage services accounts
- Discusses advantages of proper planning with customers
- Coaches retail employees on brokerage services and referral processes
- Plans and coordinates business development opportunities
- Maintains professional licenses and completes continuing education requirements
- Cultivates relationships with external referral sources
- Participates in community activities to enhance the bank's image
Requirements
- Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years general and specialized experience
- Continuing study and education towards professional designations (e.g., CFP, ChFC, etc.)
- Maintain Series 7, Series 66 (or 63 and 65) and PA Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses
