Senior IT Security Expert

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implementation and maintenance of IT security and overall security concepts
- Conducting risk analyses, determining protection needs, and deriving appropriate measures
- Coaching and technical support for creating, maintaining and further developing IT security concepts and policies
- Advising technical product owners and IT security officers, particularly in the use of the ISMS tool
- Aligning and implementing new IT-Grundschutz and BSI requirements in existing security concepts
- Performing internal audits according to guidelines and supporting IT security inquiries
- Creating, reviewing and maintaining all applicable security-related documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or vocational training in an IT field, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience in IT security / information security
- Solid experience in information security processes, risk management, and business continuity management
- Very good knowledge in creating, implementing and evaluating IT security policies and concepts
- Experience evaluating high-availability systems and deriving measures from basic checks and extended risk analyses
- Very good knowledge of the BSI standards (200-1, 200-2, 200-3, 100-4) and the IT-Grundschutz compendium
- Structured, independent working style, confident manner and very good German language skills
