About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage all aspects of the operations of the company’s distribution centers in the assigned region
Provide insight and expertise guiding annual expense budget and manpower requirements to DC managers
Act as a catalyst for change while standardizing KPI’s, training and leadership procedures, and performing assessments of productivity
Facilitate communication of goals and changes between upper management and warehouse staff
Manage the company’s overall shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and warehouse maintenance functions
Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
Responsible for overseeing OSHA and safety compliance
Assist DC managers to maintain effective, positive employee relations in the facility
Develop operating strategies to manage future growth, improve quality and reduce operating costs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Business/Logistics/Supply Chain or other related fields
10+ years of prior warehouse experience
7+ years of leadership and team management experience
Deep understanding of standard technical systems including WMS and ERP systems
Experience in continuous improvement tools/methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency, and safety
Excellent team-building and coaching skills
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements.
