About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in conducting compensation benchmarking studies to analyze salary data and market trends
- Evaluate job descriptions and conduct job evaluations to determine appropriate salary grades and pay ranges
- Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and Total Rewards programs
- Analyze existing compensation data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare reports and presentations for management to communicate findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with HR business partners, recruiters, and hiring managers to ensure consistent and fair compensation practices
- Participate in salary surveys and maintain up-to-date knowledge of compensation trends and best practices
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits
- Support annual salary planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and merit increase recommendations
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits in a timely and professional manner
- Analyze existing processes, such as FLSA classification review, pay changes, and position changes
- Streamline compensation processes through operational and system enhancements via ADP and other internal systems
- Assist in bonus design, benchmarking, administration and communications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Previous experience in compensation analysis or related HR field required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
- Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and other data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus
- Familiarity with Workday and compensation management software is preferred
