About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for Workday Learning, supporting all learning teams and training programs across the business
- Administer and maintain the Workday Learning module, including course creation, enrollment rules, learning campaigns, and content management
- Configure and manage learning campaigns, assignments, curricula, certifications, and compliance training programs
- Maintain system integrity by managing security roles, business processes, configuration updates, and tenant settings
- Partner with the People team, cross-functional L&D teams, and business stakeholders to support training initiatives and translate requirements into system solutions
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide end-user support
- Maintain data integrity, including auditing learning records, completions, and reporting accuracy
- Generate and analyze reports and dashboards to measure learning effectiveness and compliance
- Support integrations and updates, including Workday releases, testing, and enhancements
- Ensure system configurations align with organizational policies and compliance requirements
- Maintain and expand third-party integrations (e.g., external LMS platforms, content providers)
- Develop and maintain documentation, job aids, and training materials for end users
- Partner with stakeholders to track course compliance and provide regular updates
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve system functionality and user experience
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–5+ years of experience administering Workday Learning or similar LMS platforms
- Hands-on experience with Workday configuration, business processes, and reporting tools
- Strong understanding of learning management principles and compliance training requirements
- Experience with Workday releases, testing cycles, and system enhancements
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Workday certification in Learning or HCM (preferred)
- Experience with Workday integrations (EIB, Workday Studio, or APIs) (preferred)
- Familiarity with instructional design principles or eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate) (preferred)
- Experience supporting global or enterprise-level LMS environments (preferred)
