About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to defining, structuring and evolving Sépaq’s organizational change management approach
  • Advise leadership, project sponsors and strategic partners on success factors for transformations
  • Help align strategy, projects, organizational priorities and change absorption capacity
  • Establish and refine governance, prioritization and coordination mechanisms for change management
  • Clarify roles and responsibilities of the various stakeholders involved in transformations
  • Monitor best practices in change management and recommend required adjustments
  • Design and deploy change management strategies and plans tailored to major corporate initiatives
  • Conduct analyses to identify impacts, human and organizational risks, engagement challenges and adoption levers
  • Provide a cross-cutting perspective on ongoing transformations to identify overlaps, interdependencies, saturation risks and opportunities for synergy
  • Advise on deployment sequencing, initiative alignment and message consistency
  • Produce required change management deliverables such as strategies, plans, analyses, tools, communications content, training materials, manager support documents, assessments and recommendations
  • Supervise, when needed, activities of specialized change management consultants and ensure rigorous application of the chosen approach
  • Support managers, sponsors and key leaders in performing their roles as change leaders
  • Assist leaders in preparation for engagement, sensitive communications, addressing concerns and embedding new practices
  • Build and maintain trusted, collaborative relationships with internal partners
  • Design, structure and deploy tools, templates, guidelines and development activities to strengthen internal change management capabilities
  • Facilitate or support communities of practice, coordination forums or knowledge-sharing mechanisms aimed at raising organizational maturity
  • Actively contribute to developing a culture that encourages collaboration, agility, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Implement and monitor indicators to assess readiness, buy-in, adoption and sustainability of changes
  • Assess the organization’s capacity to adapt to change and recommend required adjustments
  • Measure the effectiveness of deployed strategies and the benefits observed following implementations
  • Ensure consistency between management practices, messages, processes and expected behaviors
  • Produce reviews and recommendations to continuously improve change management practices and interventions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, industrial relations, business administration or a related discipline
  • 7 years of relevant experience in organizational change management
  • Significant experience supporting complex, organization-wide transformations
  • Experience contributing to establishing, evolving or structuring a change management practice, framework or approach
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with senior executives, project teams and cross-functional groups such as HR and communications
  • Strong command of recognized change management methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Recognized certification in change management is an asset
  • Knowledge of complementary approaches such as Prosci, ACMP, Agile, Lean or continuous improvement is an asset
  • Excellent analytical skills and strategic vision
  • Strong ability to influence without formal authority
  • Political acumen, sound judgment and professional credibility
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize and structure work
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to adapt approach to diverse audiences
  • Mobilizing, inclusive and results-oriented leadership
  • Creativity, proactivity, autonomy and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and spoken French
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Office 365 collaboration tools
