Social Media Consultant
SépaqSocial Media Consultant developing content strategies and managing online communities for Sépaq. Working closely with marketing to boost brand engagement and performance goals.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a social media advisor and expert: develop and implement social media content strategies and tactics, manage and animate communities, and provide advisory services to teams and partners.
- As a Social Media Consultant reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will plan, create, publish and optimize content across Sépaq’s social platforms.
- Contribute to the planning and deployment of Sépaq’s content marketing strategy (multi-product/destination, multi-season, multi-audience) in alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
- Work closely with colleagues in the Marketing Directorate, Brand team and Digital Commerce to execute marketing action plans.
- Plan editorial calendars, create, adapt and publish creative, innovative and high-performing content (copy, static visuals, videos) tailored to audiences and the various social platforms.
- Coordinate projects with external collaborators when required, such as influencers and content creators.
- Manage assigned communities: run pages, perform active monitoring, moderate and respond to comments and messages received.
- Monitor key social media metrics, continuously optimize the organic reach of published content and community engagement levels.
- Recommend and coordinate certain paid social media boosts and manage the associated billing.
- Ensure adoption and evolution of the social media community management guide within the organization.
- Provide advisory services and support to Sépaq’s establishments and vice-presidencies in areas related to your expertise.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with colleagues across the Vice-Presidency of Marketing and Customer Relations, the Vice-Presidency of Territories and Customer Experience, with establishments and with external partners.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or another equivalent field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, primarily in social media management and community moderation for a large organization
- Ability to align business, brand and marketing objectives with platform-specific strategies
- Excellent command of social media (notably Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn) and solid knowledge of analytics and project management tools (Meta Business Suite, Asana, JIRA, etc.)
- Excellent writing skills (impeccable command of the French language and ability to write engaging, clear and concise content) and the ability to adapt content to different channels
- Curiosity and the ability to stay informed of new developments, best practices and trends in social media and influencer marketing
- Creative thinking, an innovative mindset and an artistic eye
- Highly structured and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with rigor, exemplary attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Customer-oriented with strong customer service skills
- Availability to monitor and manage assigned social media outside regular working hours when needed, for major events
- Photo and video creation skills (asset)
- Good general understanding of the tourism industry and of Sépaq’s destinations, products and services (asset)
