About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a senior commercial partner to Sales, Relationship Management, and regional leadership teams in developing and executing growth strategies.
- Lead complex solution-oriented sales engagements from executive discovery through negotiation and contract execution.
- Drive cross-sell, upsell, client expansion, revenue growth, retention, solution adoption, and market expansion across Credit Risk Solutions.
- Advise senior client stakeholders on credit risk, regulatory, compliance, investment, and operational objectives.
- Lead product demonstrations, workshops, strategy sessions, and consultative client engagements.
- Deliver market insights on credit risk, quantitative modeling, private credit, regulatory developments, ratings usage, and portfolio management.
- Represent the organization at conferences, webinars, industry events, client advisory boards, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Identify client challenges and architect tailored multi-product data, analytics, and workflow solutions.
- Develop business cases and value propositions demonstrating measurable ROI and strategic impact.
- Optimize client workflows for credit underwriting, portfolio management, regulatory compliance, investment research, counterparty risk, treasury, procurement, and enterprise risk management.
- Provide client feedback, competitive intelligence, market trends, and enhancement recommendations to Product Management.
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategy, product launches, pricing, packaging, and commercialization priorities.
- Mentor junior product specialists, sales teams, and commercial stakeholders.
- Partner with regional and global colleagues across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
- Lead internal enablement, advanced training, and guidance for sales and relationship management teams.
- Support executive business reviews, renewal negotiations, strategic account planning, adoption, utilization, and long-term client value realization.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of relevant experience in credit risk, fixed income, financial institutions, capital markets, commercial banking, investment management, market data, financial technology, or enterprise risk solutions.
- Experience engaging senior client stakeholders and translating complex business needs into actionable solution strategies.
- Deep understanding of credit markets, credit risk assessment, financial statement analysis, ratings, credit scoring, counterparty risk, portfolio monitoring, and/or regulatory and compliance workflows.
- Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated ability to support revenue growth, client retention, cross-sell/upsell, and strategic account development.
- Willingness to travel as needed across the region.
- Excellent executive presence, communication, presentation, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex consultative client engagements, including executive discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, business case development, and commercial conversations.
- Strong understanding of credit risk solutions, data, analytics, and workflow platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, client engagements, and strategic initiatives across market segments and geographies.
- Leadership capabilities, including mentoring, enablement, best-practice sharing, and team knowledge development.
- Intellectual curiosity, creativity, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
- Independent and self-motivated, comfortable operating with limited supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and relevant market data/analytics platforms required.
- Indefinite right to work in the United States required.
- MBA, Master’s in Finance, CFA, FRM, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
