About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as Chief of Staff and trusted advisor to the CPO on organizational priorities, execution strategy, communications, and executive decision-making.
  • Drive execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring enterprise priorities translate into clear actions and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead preparation for Executive Leadership Team meetings, Board materials, Quarterly Business Reviews, Annual Planning, investor-facing updates, and strategic presentations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Technology, Finance, and Corporate Strategy.
  • Develop executive narratives, operating metrics, business reviews, and strategic communications that articulate product strategy and organizational performance.
  • Represent the CPO in executive forums and governance meetings when appropriate.
  • Lead and scale the Product Performance organization, including Product Delivery and Product Operations.
  • Establish and evolve the Product organization’s operating model, including governance, planning, execution rhythms, and measurement.
  • Own the Product Development Lifecycle, creating standardized processes and operating practices across the organization.
  • Oversee enterprise operating mechanisms, including Annual Planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, Product Kickoffs, Executive Product Reviews, roadmap governance, portfolio reviews, and organizational health metrics.
  • Partner with Product Leaders to improve prioritization, capacity planning, delivery governance, and execution transparency.
  • Provide executive oversight for Product Delivery, ensuring key initiatives execute predictably while balancing speed, quality, customer value, and business impact.
  • Guide the strategic approach for enterprise product launches and cross-functional readiness.
  • Establish portfolio reporting, executive dashboards, delivery health metrics, and operational scorecards to support proactive decision-making.
  • Champion initiatives that reduce friction, improve decision-making, and increase execution velocity.
  • Define executive metrics, KPIs, and performance frameworks for the Product organization.
  • Direct the strategy for product analytics, operational reporting, and executive dashboards.
  • Establish trusted sources of operational and product data to improve transparency, accountability, and decision-making.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Data teams to measure product investments and business outcomes.
  • Define the roadmap for the Product organization’s operational ecosystem, including product management, planning, analytics, collaboration, knowledge management, and AI-enabled productivity tools.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for tooling governance, data integrity, workflow optimization, and process automation.
  • Oversee product documentation, enablement, and knowledge management to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Champion AI-enabled improvements that accelerate product development, improve operational efficiency, and enhance decision quality.
  • Lead change management initiatives that support adoption of new operating models, tools, and governance practices.
  • Build trusted partnerships across Product, Engineering, Commercial, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Legal, and Executive Leadership.
  • Influence organizational priorities through collaboration, executive communication, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Balance strategic thinking with operational execution to ensure enterprise initiatives are delivered with urgency and discipline.
  • Develop future leaders and build a high-performing organization capable of supporting long-term growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant leadership experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Program Management, Portfolio Management, Strategy, or Business Operations, preferably in enterprise software or financial services.
  • Experience serving as Chief of Staff, Strategy Lead, Business Operations Leader, or in a similar executive advisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams in highly matrixed organizations.
  • Deep understanding of Product Development Lifecycle practices and enterprise product operating models.
  • Experience establishing executive operating rhythms, governance structures, portfolio management frameworks, and organizational planning processes.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to synthesize complex information into executive-level recommendations.
  • Exceptional executive communication, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading organizational transformation, operational excellence, and enterprise change management initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success building executive dashboards, performance frameworks, and data-driven decision processes.
  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities and experience driving AI-enabled operational improvements.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree, MBA or equivalent, preferred.
