About the role
- Lead and mentor a team of software developers and quality engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of full-stack web applications and backend pipeline systems.
- Architect and implement scalable solutions using Java (JDK 17+), Python (3.13), Angular (18+), and TypeScript.
- Utilize serverless technologies in AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudFront) to deliver performant and scalable application capabilities.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
- Drive adoption of best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Promote the use of Resource Description Framework (RDF) for data management and integration, where applicable.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack development and backend systems.
- Proven experience in Java (JDK 17+), Python (3.13), Angular (18+), and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AWS serverless technologies, including Lambda, S3, and CloudFront.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Familiarity with RDF and its applications in data management is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with a servant-leader mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
