About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary client-facing partner for post-renewal contracting, procurement, and billing engagement, delivering a seamless commercial experience.
  • Proactively manage commercial and procurement workflows to ensure invoice accuracy, timely payments, and overall account health, thereby reducing billing friction and preventing collections escalations.
  • Partner closely with clients and internal stakeholders to address billing-related challenges, facilitate alignment across procurement and finance contacts, and proactively resolve issues impacting revenue realization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to both clients and Account Managers, ensuring a high-touch experience that supports long-term partnership growth and retention.
  • Contribute to faster client payment cycles, reduced aging receivables, and a significant improvement in the overall client billing and payment process.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive experience in client-facing roles focused on commercial and procurement workflows, particularly in invoicing and payment processes.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships, address complex billing challenges, and facilitate alignment among diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of revenue realization acceleration and strategies to improve client experience in post-renewal phases.
  • 2+ years of experience in account management, client relations, or a related financial service role.
  • Ability to actively listen, seeking to understand other perspectives and concerns (Emotional Intelligence).
  • Strong collaboration skills, actively participating and contributing towards team goals.
  • Effective communication, interpreting or clarifying technical information to aid understanding.
