About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect, design, and develop scalable cloud-based data applications and robust pipelines within a cross-functional Agile team.
Spearhead traditional AI and GenAI initiatives. Leverage tools like GitHub Copilot to improve development speed, code quality, and time-to-market.
Manage and optimize existing solutions. Solve highly complex architectural problems by weighing costs, benefits, and long-term scalability.
Troubleshoot and debug complex code and cloud infrastructure issues to guarantee system reliability and high availability.
Provide hands-on guidance, conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and closely collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders through excellent documentation and clear communication.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Science roles.
Expert-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
Strong hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, or GCP).
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and BigQuery.
Deep experience implementing and scaling messaging systems like Message Broker Systems or similar enterprise tools.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
Advanced complex problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
Deep passion for continuous learning and adopting emerging technologies.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proven track record of driving alignment across diverse, global, and matrixed teams.
