About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
Develop and automate deployment processes, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software releases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements and optimize system performance
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools
Ensure compliance with security best practices and data protection regulations
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
Strong knowledge of AWS
Experience with containerization technologies like Amazon Elastic Container Service
Proficient in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
Solid understanding of networking principles and infrastructure security
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Desire to stay up to date with industry trends and technologies
Support junior members of the team
Certifications in AWS (preferred)
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform (preferred)
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack or Prometheus (preferred)
Experience with agile development methodologies (preferred)
Understanding of microservices architecture (preferred)
