About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive commercial growth and revenue generation by identifying, qualifying, and advancing opportunities.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline across U.S. and Canadian asset owners.
  • Lead client coverage and business development by managing and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Deliver a consultative, solutions-based approach linking client objectives to S&P DJI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to orchestrate solutions and enable implementation across a matrixed organization.
  • Drive thought leadership and market presence by increasing awareness and adoption through client education and outreach.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in institutional commercial roles (sales, solutions, consulting, relationship management) within indexing, asset management, financial data/technology, or related institutional markets.
  • Proven success and strong understanding of the asset owner ecosystem and decision-making processes, including governance structures, consultant influence, and benchmark selection dynamics and investment structures.
  • Advanced knowledge in a specialized field and broad knowledge of several related disciplines within a function.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to ~50% across the U.S. and Canada.
  • All external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process must attend at least one in-person interview at a local S&P Global office.
