About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive business growth of our Scorecards & Analytical Services across the Greater China region by identifying new opportunities and actively engaging in the sales process.
  • Deliver credit risk management services to clients, including scorecard implementation, credit risk analysis, and risk advisory.
  • Engage directly with clients, providing credit analytical support and training, and solving complex credit risk challenges for risk managers and senior stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to top-tier financial institutions, offering technical expertise in credit risk analysis and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and business development through market research, white papers, and industry presentations, positioning S&P Global Market Intelligence as the premier risk analytics partner.
  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Corporate or Infrastructure credit risk analysis (rating agency, large bank, investing institution) and/or financial risk advisory experiences (big consulting firms).
  • Strong industry knowledge in banking risk management and regulatory frameworks (Basel III/IV, local regulatory requirements).
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with clients across Greater China markets.
  • We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
