About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive business growth of our Scorecards & Analytical Services across the Greater China region by identifying new opportunities and actively engaging in the sales process.
Deliver credit risk management services to clients, including scorecard implementation, credit risk analysis, and risk advisory.
Engage directly with clients, providing credit analytical support and training, and solving complex credit risk challenges for risk managers and senior stakeholders.
Serve as a trusted advisor to top-tier financial institutions, offering technical expertise in credit risk analysis and industry best practices.
Contribute to thought leadership and business development through market research, white papers, and industry presentations, positioning S&P Global Market Intelligence as the premier risk analytics partner.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields.
6+ years of relevant experience in Corporate or Infrastructure credit risk analysis (rating agency, large bank, investing institution) and/or financial risk advisory experiences (big consulting firms).
Strong industry knowledge in banking risk management and regulatory frameworks (Basel III/IV, local regulatory requirements).
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and verbal) to effectively communicate with clients across Greater China markets.
We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
