About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Monitor how oil and gas companies adapt their upstream and corporate strategies to incorporate the energy transition.
Assess oil and gas companies’ commitments and performance in New Energies.
Research emerging energy transition developments affecting upstream oil and gas to support content generation.
Monitor, collate and standardize event information to support dataset development; identify trends from the collected information and datasets, assist in generating insights on the transformation of upstream players.
Collaborate with other analysts to draft insights on the companies’ initiatives in New Energies; as well as writing individual pieces of research.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent written communication skills in English.
Ability to construct a compelling narrative in a research piece.
Proficiency with MS applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Knowledge of the energy, upstream and energy transition sectors would be beneficial.
Knowledge of corporate strategy would be beneficial.
Passing initial Chartered Financial Analyst level would be beneficial.
Familiarity with Power BI would be beneficial.
1 or more years of relevant experience.
