About the role

  • Design, build, and own scalable, secure platform infrastructure on AWS.
  • Define and standardize platform patterns for compute, networking, deployments, and observability.
  • Build, enhance, and architect CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform.
  • Own container orchestration platforms including networking, upgrades, and reliability.
  • Design and develop automation-first solutions using various programming languages.
  • Own observability standards and ensure system health transparency.
  • Independently lead production incidents and drive post-incident reviews.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure stable environments and smooth releases.
  • Perform capacity planning, cost optimization, and technology proofs of concept.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps
  • Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, IAM, EKS/ECS, S3, VPC, CloudWatch)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
  • Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform
  • Experience with container orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS)
  • Proficient in programming/scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell, Go)
  • Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Datadog)
  • Strong incident management experience, including leadership of critical incidents
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
