About the role

  • Help manage our prospecting efforts on a wide spectrum, including managing marketing leads, new business campaigns, customer upgrade campaigns etc.
  • Managing sales tasks within our CRM system
  • Help sales team with booking meetings, preparing materials, presenting at meetings
  • Analyze territories and existing accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Works with legal and sales management to accurately deliver proposals and contracts
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • This role exposes the candidate to the following: Broaden cross asset knowledge across the markets, Broaden knowledge about finance industry, Learn our product’s selling features and narratives that put us in a position to win business, Learn vital sales skills: generate leads, cold calling, pitching, negotiations and contracting skills

Requirements

  • 1-4 Years experience at in Finance, preferably at a Data Provider
  • Organizational skills are incredibly important in this role and in a sales role in general
  • The ability to network and build relationships
  • Basic understanding of financial markets, instruments, financial math is a benefit
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce or Outreach.io an asset
  • Curious about the financial services industry and a willingness to learn
  • Enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks and problem solving
