About the role
- Help manage our prospecting efforts on a wide spectrum, including managing marketing leads, new business campaigns, customer upgrade campaigns etc.
- Managing sales tasks within our CRM system
- Help sales team with booking meetings, preparing materials, presenting at meetings
- Analyze territories and existing accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities
- Works with legal and sales management to accurately deliver proposals and contracts
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- This role exposes the candidate to the following: Broaden cross asset knowledge across the markets, Broaden knowledge about finance industry, Learn our product’s selling features and narratives that put us in a position to win business, Learn vital sales skills: generate leads, cold calling, pitching, negotiations and contracting skills
Requirements
- 1-4 Years experience at in Finance, preferably at a Data Provider
- Organizational skills are incredibly important in this role and in a sales role in general
- The ability to network and build relationships
- Basic understanding of financial markets, instruments, financial math is a benefit
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with platforms such as Salesforce or Outreach.io an asset
- Curious about the financial services industry and a willingness to learn
- Enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks and problem solving
