About the role

  • Develop and maintain a global indirect tax strategy tailored to Mobility’s data, subscription, and analytics‑based business model.
  • Ensure full compliance with VAT, GST, and sales/use tax obligations across all operating jurisdictions.
  • Monitor global tax legislation affecting digital, subscription, and data services, providing timely analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead tax transformation programs across all tax types, including process standardization, automation, and integration with ERP systems and tax engines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of indirect tax operations, particularly for digital and high‑volume data products.
  • Champion adoption of best‑in‑class tools, processes, and global digital tax solutions.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and Business Operations to embed tax requirements into pricing, product design, commercialization models, and end‑to‑end business workflows.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on indirect tax risks, planning, and opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing global indirect tax team.
  • Establish clear objectives, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing across the tax function.

Requirements

  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 10+ years of progressive global indirect tax experience, including leadership roles.
  • Deep technical expertise in VAT/GST, sales/use tax, and tax compliance for technology, data, or digital service environments.
  • Proven experience leading tax transformation, process optimization, and digital tax technology implementations.
  • Experience operating in complex multinational organizations.
  • Strong stakeholder management, advisory capability, and executive-level communication skills.
