About the role
- Working with stakeholders to understand, refine, and shape requirements for a data platform and associated applications.
- Designing and implementing high-performance, scalable full stack solutions, incorporating all technical elements from database through to user interface.
- Building and maintaining microservices, APIs, and event-driven components to support platform workflows.
- Participating in the design and implementation of reporting, data management, and operational tooling as needed.
- Ensuring system reliability, performance, and security by identifying gaps/loopholes in end-to-end workflows and addressing them through design and code changes.
- Collaborating with distributed team members through code reviews, pairing/mentoring, and shared ownership of delivery outcomes.
- Contributing to CI/CD practices and operational readiness (deployment, monitoring, and production support as needed).
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong .NET/C# skills, including .NET Core / ASP.NET Core for building web applications and services.
- Proven ability to design and build RESTful APIs, applying best practices for versioning, security, and performance.
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures (message-based integration patterns).
- Proficiency with TypeScript + React (or a comparable modern SPA framework) and strong SQL Server skills (schema design, query writing, performance tuning).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, with strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, multi-cultural team environment, demonstrating adaptability in a rapidly changing setting.
- Self-motivated and organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; a proactive team player who can deliver results with minimal oversight.
