About the role

  • Support ongoing surveillance of a portfolio of rated corporate issuers through financial statement analysis, forecasting, and industry research.
  • Contribute to financial models and written materials used for committee reviews and external publications.
  • Identify and flag potential issues in financial analysis and credit assessments with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members across offices and time zones; participate in team discussions and meetings with issuers and other external parties.
  • Take initiative to support broader team goals and operate effectively in an environment of continuous improvement and high customer service standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; business or quantitative discipline preferred.
  • Some progress toward the CFA or MBA is a benefit; commitment to pursue further credentials expected.
  • 0–1 years of relevant experience in corporate credit analysis, investment banking, accounting, or related finance roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and an ability to learn new workflow applications.
  • Strong financial statement analysis and accounting knowledge; ability to process and analyze complex financial information accurately under tight deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Well organized; able to multitask and meet deadlines; strong team player; independent, critical thinker; self-starter; coachable with a genuine desire for personal development.
