About the role
- Manage and analyze market data to track and identify trends, policies, stakeholders, projects, and technology developments in the water electrolyzer and clean hydrogen markets
- Create high quality market reports analyzing the status and outlook for hydrogen in Asia and the rest of the world
- Work with both a global team and local colleagues across markets and commodities to co-ordinate viewpoints and align data and forecasts
- Develop excellent relationships with companies to better understand their perspectives, views, opinions and needs and incorporate into S&P Global Energy’s research
- Support client requests by providing answers to questions about research findings.
- Provide thought leadership through reports and presentations, both private and at professional conferences
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in an industry related to hydrogen, low-carbon hydrogen, or water electrolysis, including: chemicals, fertilizer, oil & gas, electric power, or renewables (wind, solar, or batteries)
- Experience with technologies related to hydrogen production, especially water electrolysis, steam methane reforming, coal gasification, and/or carbon dioxide capture.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with Excel and knowledge of database and AI tools
- Understanding of cost modeling techniques and best practices, including levelized production costs and other financing modeling methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, including both written reports and oral presentations
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and effective integrate team feedback
- CV in English.
