About the role
- Support ongoing surveillance of a portfolio of rated corporate issuers through financial statement analysis, forecasting, and industry research.
- Contribute to financial models and written materials used for committee reviews and external publications.
- Identify and flag potential issues in financial analysis and credit assessments with attention to detail.
- Collaborate with team members across offices and time zones; participate in team discussions and meetings with issuers and other external parties.
- Take initiative to support broader team goals and operate effectively in an environment of continuous improvement and high customer service standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; business or quantitative discipline preferred.
- Some progress toward the CFA or MBA is a benefit; commitment to pursue further credentials expected.
- 0–1 years of relevant experience in corporate credit analysis, investment banking, accounting, or related finance roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and an ability to learn new workflow applications.
- Strong financial statement analysis and accounting knowledge; ability to process and analyze complex financial information accurately under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Well organized; able to multitask and meet deadlines; strong team player; independent, critical thinker; self‑starter; coachable with a genuine desire for personal development.
