About the role
- Conduct industry research on the datacenter market and its trends, working both independently and in collaboration within a geographically dispersed, global team.
- Supporting the development and delivery of detailed market reports on the North American datacenter, infrastructure, and energy markets with a focus on electricity markets.
- Writing is essential to this role and will involve supporting the publication of short insights and longer strategic reports on broader industry trends.
- Collaborate across divisions to integrate diverse insights into cohesive analyses.
- Perform quantitative analysis to support strategic insights.
- Engage directly with clients, providing insights and solutions.
- Utilize your expertise in datacenter and energy industries to drive research initiatives.
- Share thought leadership through written reports, webinars and industry conferences.
- Conduct research for client consulting engagements and deliver presentations and reports.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Experience in the datacenter or energy industries, especially electricity, is highly preferred.
- Analytical thinker.
- Interest and ability to gather and interrogate data from new and existing sources.
- Ability to dive into details and synthesize findings with client facing materials.
- Instinct for curiosity and collaboration.
- Excellent written and presentation skills for effective communication.
- Experience with client-facing work.
- Ability and desire to eventually independently drive research initiatives.
- Experience in thought leadership through webinars and conferences.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements and events.
