About the role
- Design, develop, and implement scalable cloud solutions using Azure and AWS platforms, utilizing Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Lead cloud migration and application modernization projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and facilitate between product teams and professional services to resolve blockers.
- Automate and optimize CI/CD processes using DevOps practices and monitor cloud infrastructure for optimal performance.
- Conduct migration cost impact analysis and support architectural reviews, assisting with remediation to standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting knowledge expansion and skills development.
- Manage and oversee the performance and career development of team members by setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and facilitating professional growth opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative environment by encouraging junior team members to participate in problem-solving and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in IT systems engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
- Proficient in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Must possess exceptional communication skills and relationship management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing environments.
- Experience with TechOps and cloud infrastructure management is preferred.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Certification in Azure or AWS cloud services is a plus.
- Experience in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks is a plus.
- Knowledge or experience with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and applications is a plus.
