About the role
- Design, develop, and implement scalable cloud solutions using Azure and AWS platforms, utilizing Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Lead cloud migration and application modernization projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise security standards and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and facilitate between product teams and professional services to resolve blockers.
- Automate and optimize CI/CD processes using DevOps practices and monitor cloud infrastructure for optimal performance.
- Conduct migration cost impact analysis and support architectural reviews, assisting with remediation to standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, supporting knowledge expansion and skills development.
- Manage and oversee the performance and career development of team members by setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and facilitating professional growth opportunities to enhance team capabilities and individual career progression.
- Foster a collaborative environment by encouraging junior team members to participate in problem-solving and innovation initiatives.
Requirements
- 8-12 years’ experience in IT systems engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
- Proficient in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Must possess exceptional communication skills and relationship management.
- Experience with TechOps and cloud infrastructure management (preferred).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
- Certification in Azure or AWS cloud services (preferred).
- Experience in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks (preferred).
- Knowledge or experience with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and applications (preferred).
