About the role
- Provides leadership in the execution and delivery of technology solutions to support business applications.
- Leading and coordinating activities throughout development, ensuring the appropriate use of standard models and software packages.
- Developing common application services.
- Ensure that the best development processes and technologies are used in the design, construction, and implementation of applications.
- Ensures the timely delivery of the application development projects without compromising the quality and performance of the system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 6+ years’ experience in application development (including application architecture).
- Strong Java/C# and SQL skills.
- Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven development.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Big Data platforms such as Apache Hadoop and Apache Spark.
- Experience with stream processing engines like Kafka, Spark, etc.
- Expertise in building event-driven scalable & resilient systems.
- Experience working in cloud computing environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience in Snowflake, Databricks, and Google BigQuery.
- Experience in the Energy Transition domain is a plus.
