About the role

  • Take ownership of development tasks assigned and produce high quality software to deliver on these tasks.
  • Apply software development principles and best practices, utilizing AI-powered tools to enhance development practices, product functionality, and user experience.
  • Employ platform-centric thinking to design and develop solutions that integrate seamlessly across various platforms and services.
  • Leverage GitHub Copilot and other company provided tools to improve development speed and code quality through AI assistance and code reviews.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Quality Assurance team to clarify requirements and ensure bugs are resolved effectively.

Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience with knowledge of generative AI tools such as GitHub Copilot
  • Experience with Java 11+ including 21
  • Solid software design skills, understanding of micro-services
  • Proficiency in utilizing GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to optimize coding processes
  • Have relevant knowledge of Generative AI benefits and applications
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in AI and software development to drive innovation
  • Ability to work independently and proactively learn about the system (quick learner)
  • Understanding of multi-threading
  • Understand and write performant, testable and maintainable code
  • Experience of Test-Driven Development
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
