About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the end-to-end data science project lifecycle, from understanding the business problem to deploying and monitoring models in production
- Develop and refine Machine Learning models (supervised and unsupervised) applied to recruitment, selection, retention, and engagement
- Perform complex exploratory analyses to uncover patterns and hidden opportunities in user behavior
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to integrate data solutions directly into the platform
- Ensure model quality and governance, focusing on bias mitigation and explainability (XAI)
- Mentor junior team members, promoting best practices in coding, experimentation, and scientific rigor
- Communicate technical findings clearly and strategically to stakeholders across the company
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in senior-level Data Science projects, preferably in product-oriented (SaaS) environments
- Advanced proficiency in Python and its main libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM)
- Advanced SQL skills for handling large datasets and extracting insights
- Deep knowledge of applied statistics, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS or GCP) and version control tools (Git)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and LLMs (Generative AI) is a plus
- Experience with recommender systems is a plus
- Familiarity with MLOps practices (MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar) is a plus
- Prior experience in HR Tech or People Analytics is a plus
- Master's or Ph.D. in quantitative fields (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering) is a plus
