About the role
- Perform software maintenance
- Develop new features
- Support the Product team in designing new solutions and conducting technical feasibility analyses
- Participate in ceremonies - daily stand-up, review, retrospective
- Track requirements together with the Product team
- Contribute suggestions for new tasks together with the Product team
- Develop tests in partnership with the QA team
- Define development standards
- Decide on architectural patterns (layers, services, integrations, etc.)
- Ensure generated code follows best practices for performance, scalability, and security
- Support and serve as a technical reference for junior and mid-level developers
- Identify and propose improvements
Requirements
- Development experience with GeneXus 17 or higher - solid experience (5+ years)
- Knowledge of Work With Plus (WWP)
- Experience with GeneXus WEB environment
- Knowledge of CSS, JavaScript and especially Java
- Knowledge of Apache Tomcat configuration, administration, and troubleshooting
- Ability to perform deployments, configure data sources, adjust ports, analyze logs, and apply security and performance practices in Tomcat
- Familiarity with Linux operating system
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Experience creating custom Docker images for environments with GeneXus + Tomcat
- Knowledge of GAM (GeneXus Access Manager)
- Experience with HR/Payroll processes (either business knowledge or development experience)
