About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the completion of construction and/or maintenance projects as assigned by the Project Manager
Oversee projects up to $20 million in scope
Create a three-week look ahead schedule of activities
Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with the Project Manager on work plans and project tracking reports
Conduct daily reports for completed work and delays encountered
Ensure subcontractor quality, scheduling, and production
Promote and execute the company’s safety program

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma/GED and an associate degree
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited four-year college or university (preferred)
Five (5) years of Construction Manager/Superintendent with project scope of $10 million or greater in scope OR Five (5) years Project Management overseeing projects up to $10 million in scope OR Ten (10) years of experience as a Foreman on projects up to $10 million in scope
Current and clean driver’s license
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and other project management tools
Understanding of mechanical terms and tools as well as physical and mechanical installation specifications
Strong knowledge of electrical underground construction activities
Ability to read and understand drawings, job specifications, project schedules, quality control requirements, etc.
