About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Programming and configuring **PLC systems** (focus on logic rather than heavy coding)
Translating **electrical schematics into program logic **
Creating and adjusting **basic HMI interfaces **(operator touch panels)
Performing simulations, testing, and debugging
Providing **test support**, including setup and troubleshooting (PLC/HMI diagnostics, network components, software adjustments)
Supporting commissioning, both in-house and at customer sites
Collaborating with commissioning engineers and the wider team
Adapting solutions based on **customer requirements **
Designing, testing and adjusting communication protocols of Sécheron systems and their integration into customers SCADA systems (no deep SCADA expertise required)

Requirements

What you’ll need

- High school / university degree in Automation / Programming/IT
- Practical experience and knowledge of HMI/PLC
- Ability to **read electrical schematics and translate them into logic connections **
- Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols and their use
- **Communicative English **(B2 or higher) mandatory and German as an advantage
- Driving license
**Nice to have: **
- Experience in a similar position is an advantage
- Knowledge of Network architecture (programmable switch)
- Experience with traction power systems
