About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for products and services, including issuing purchase orders
- Prepare and manage requests for quotations (RFQs), conduct price comparisons, and evaluate supplier offers
- Draft, review, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor agreements, including pricing and key terms, in close collaboration with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering
- Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and purchasing efficiency
- Manage contract changes, variations, and claims, ensuring commercial alignment
- Support billing processes, including invoice verification and cost tracking
- Maintain and analyze procurement and supplier data to support decision-making
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and efficient processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing (technical background is a strong advantage)
- Solid experience in contract management, negotiation, billing, and supplier communication
- Structured, independent, and reliable working style with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent German (minimum C1) and good command of English (minimum B2); any additional language is an advantage
