About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Technical Estimating & Solutions Development: Prepare technical estimates, quotations, and solutions for traction power substation and electrified rail applications.
  • Customer Collaboration: Engage directly with clients to deliver tailored solutions and presentations while maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Product Expertise: Provide support on DC and AC products, including:
  • - DC switchgear, high-speed breakers, and panels
  • - Rectifiers, power converters, and voltage limiting devices
  • - Multi-function protection relays and custom electro-mechanical solutions
  • Sales Strategy: Develop a strategic business plan to build a robust pipeline, identify opportunities, and achieve annual sales goals.
  • Financial Analysis: Model financial business cases to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Lead responses for RFPs/RFIs and stay informed on market trends.
  • Representation & Networking: Attend trade associations, conferences, and client events to represent the company and educate stakeholders on product advancements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred; Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical experience will also be considered.
  • - Sales Engineer, Project Manager, or technical sales background with custom electro-mechanical solutions.
  • - Prior experience in power distribution, switchgear manufacturing, or similar roles (3+ years preferred)
  • - Familiarity with **DC and AC power systems** (Low Voltage and Medium Voltage).
  • - Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • - Excellent Excel and MS Office Suite (Office 365) proficiency.
  • - Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable in complex technical environments.
  • - Ability to analyze technical requirements and create clear, accurate solutions.
  • - Comfortable working in a collaborative, international team setting.
