About the role

  • - Repair and overhaul of electromechanical components according to internal instructions.
  • - Mechanical and electrical testing of these components.
  • - Incoming inspection/analysis of defective/worn components.
  • - Create service and routine test reports in English.
  • - Organize spare part deliveries and manage our stock of spare parts.
  • - Coordination with our customer support engineering and sales teams.
  • - Visit the customer sites in the USA or Canada when required.
  • - Organization (calibration) of our measuring equipment according to internal quality standards.
  • - Practical and theoretical training of our customers.

Requirements

  • - Minimum 3 years of experience as a repair technician with mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
  • - Good computer skills in the use of MS Office
  • - Knowledge of railway technology is an advantage
  • - Ability to work in a team
  • - Willingness to learn
  • - Availability to travel around 20-30% of the time.
  • - Ability to work independently and on one's own responsibility
  • - Interest and ability to understand DC & AC power systems and corresponding product needs.
  • - Driving license
  • - Excellent English
  • - Any other languages are a plus.
