About the role
- Review and approve marketing creative prior to launch
- Evaluate claims under FTC compliance standards
- Distinguish between structure/function claims and disease claims
- Conduct net impression analysis (copy + visuals)
- Partner with Growth and Creative to revise high-risk content while preserving performance
- Monitor FTC enforcement trends and platform policy changes
- Maintain creative compliance tracking system
- Train internal teams and creators on compliant messaging
Requirements
- 5+ years in advertising compliance, regulatory affairs, or health-product marketing compliance
- Direct experience applying FTC health products compliance standards
- Strong understanding of: Substantiation requirements, Net impression analysis, Influencer disclosure rules, Performance marketing dynamics
- Experience in DTC wellness, supplements, or functional foods preferred
