About the role
- Own and manage monthly close for multiple clients.
- Prepare financial statements under U.S. GAAP or other required standards.
- Analyze results vs.budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Ensure proper revenue recognition and expense matching.
- Produce organized, executive-ready financial packages.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Monitor cash, burn rate, and liquidity across clients.
- Build annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Implement and optimize accounting/ERP systems.
- Oversee compliance activities (sales/use tax, payroll tax oversight, 1099s, franchise/state filings).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Extensive hands-on accounting experience; multi-entity or multi-client preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Prior public accounting or audit exposure.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High professionalism and ownership mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a remote U.S. environment.
