About the role

  • Provide individual psychotherapeutic interventions to youth and young adults experiencing psychiatric symptoms using evidence-based approaches in line with the FEP-NAVIGATE Model.
  • Provide culturally-relevant, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and measurement-based care for young people experiencing their first psychotic episode.
  • You should be knowledgeable in treating psychosis, schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, substance use, and other high-risk behaviors/symptoms as part of a multidisciplinary specialty treatment team.
  • Provide individualized psycho-education and resiliency training and work collaboratively with entire FEP treatment team.
  • Facilitate family and group therapy as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree must be in the mental health field.
  • Must have Mental Health Professional credential.
  • Ability to maintain license and registration with the Washington Department of Health.
  • Willing to do groups (bonus available).
  • Available until 7pm two nights per week.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable with a fast paced work environment.
  • One year experience working with individuals with severe mental illness preferred.
  • SUDP(T) preferred, and receives a pay bump.
