About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administer on-the-job training and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) training to new and existing employees in one-on-one or group settings
  • Perform operational work in various warehouse departments outside a training capacity as needed due to staffing and customer demand
  • Cross-train in all warehouse areas and on all PIT equipment
  • Update and maintain existing training documents and help create new training documents for various departments and job functions
  • Perform standard work audits with new and existing employees to ensure adherence to process
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • H.S. diploma/GED
  • One (1) year or more experience
  • One (1) year or more experience driving various PIT equipment
  • Training background preferred
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Good social and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively when a language barrier exists and handle diversity well
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to work in a flexible, changing environment and multitask
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively
  • Excellent written and oral grasp of English
  • Foundational beginner-level knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be available to work additional hours, days, and varying schedules as necessary
  • Flexibility to train on other shifts as needed is preferred
  • Must be able to work in a schedule-flexible warehouse operation
