About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer on-the-job training and Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) training to new and existing employees in one-on-one or group settings
Perform operational work in various warehouse departments outside a training capacity as needed due to staffing and customer demand
Cross-train in all warehouse areas and on all PIT equipment
Update and maintain existing training documents and help create new training documents for various departments and job functions
Perform standard work audits with new and existing employees to ensure adherence to process
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

H.S. diploma/GED
One (1) year or more experience
One (1) year or more experience driving various PIT equipment
Training background preferred
Excellent attendance record
Good social and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively when a language barrier exists and handle diversity well
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to work in a flexible, changing environment and multitask
Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively
Excellent written and oral grasp of English
Foundational beginner-level knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be available to work additional hours, days, and varying schedules as necessary
Flexibility to train on other shifts as needed is preferred
Must be able to work in a schedule-flexible warehouse operation
