About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of software products through testing and analysis in a multi-product microservice architecture
  • Lead testing efforts by designing, implementing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks
  • Identify software issues and collaborate with development teams to resolve bugs
  • Ensure products meet functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, security, and scalability
  • Develop quality scope and strategy
  • Execute test cases and evaluate results against expected results
  • Retest resolved defects on each release and maintain test cases and documentation
  • Participate in quality reviews and validation of requirements, architecture diagrams, acceptance criteria, and related documents
  • Produce project documentation for quality activities in accordance with the TCOE
  • Coordinate testing efforts, including testing environment setup and use
  • Oversee project test planning and execution
  • Establish quality gates and track project workload and schedules
  • Communicate project status and address project obstacles and escalations
  • Plan, develop, and execute test automation and performance testing
  • Review and validate team member test cases and results
  • Identify, improve, and implement quality standards and procedures
  • Maintain quality tools and provide quality techniques and tools to the team
  • Coach and mentor team members and foster a high-performance team environment
  • Participate in post-implementation reviews and liaise with application, customer vertical, and product teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology
  • Three to five years or more in software quality engineering/testing
  • Three to five years or more in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering processes and procedures
  • Experience with Selenium, Tosca, Cypress, JMeter, and LoadRunner at intermediate level
  • Intermediate Azure DevOps and Test Manager feature experience
  • Intermediate understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
  • Intermediate database testing skills
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and execute functional test automation scripts
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Flexibility, motivation, and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Quick learner
  • Ability to set quality standards and mentor teams regarding quality and best practices
  • Ability to travel
