About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership for the Distribution Center and supervisors
  • Interface directly with the customer to ensure issues are resolved
  • Strategic operational planning and execution
  • Identify and/or solve operational issues
  • Hire, supervise, develop and manage performance for employees
  • Maintain open and effective communications within work groups
  • Review data, identify and implement necessary actions
  • Manage the profit and loss statements
  • Lead a proactive safety program
  • Monitor the maintenance of equipment for assigned work group

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred
  • Master's degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field preferred
  • Five (5) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required
  • Five (5) years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports required
  • Three (3) years or more Profit & Loss responsibility preferred
  • One (1) year or more customer interaction preferred
