Fleet Maintenance Operations Management Trainee

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the shop management process and assist in cost savings, customer retention, and metric-based initiatives
- Work cross functionally across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental Management
- Manage running costs and maintenance overheads
- Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization without compromising lease customers
- Ensure accurate PM scheduling and follow up on breakdowns and vehicle status updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- One (1) year or more customer service with issues resolution experience preferred
- Strong mechanical skills
- Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics beginner required
- Strong PC knowledge/skills to include spreadsheet and word processing software packages advanced required
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
